Dowgate Capital Stockbrokers (“DCS”) was founded as Ellis & Partners.

1998

Ellis & Partners bought by Investment Management Holdings Plc (formerly Seymour Pierce Group Plc and Talisman House Plc) and changed its name to Seymour Pierce Ellis (“SPE”) in 2000.

2003

SPE sold to SPIN SPG (now Seymour Pierce) as part of a management buyout.

2006

SPE sold to Dowgate Capital Plc and changed its name first to Ellis Stockbrokers and then to DCS in 2008.

2009

Dowgate Capital Plc and DCS acquired by Astaire Group Plc.

2011

DCS sold to 3B Capital Limited, a special purpose vehicle owned by the management and staff of DCS, accountants BeavisMorgan, and other investors.
